Kick off the Dutch Bio Science Week with the Leids Kennisfestival on June 28: a vibrant day full of inspiration on health and well-being, featuring a keynote by Olympic champion Maarten van der Weijden. This free event at the Hooglandse Kerk is organized by the Leiden Healthy Society Center.

Walk through the city, route of 2 km, and listen to audio tour through the inner city about Leiden, City of Discoveries. Especially for children 6-12 years, listen to what the impact of the University has been on the city and what discoveries came from the arrival of scientists in Leiden from 1575 to the present.
