Explore the park
The Leiden Bio Science Park invites you to an Open Day where the doors of innovation open to the public. This event promises a day of discovery and learning, suitable for all ages from 4 to 104. Discover what goes on in the secret laboratories and buildings through guided lab tours, hands-on workshops and enlightening lectures.
So come to the Leiden Bio Science Park on July 5 between 10:00 and 15:00!
Starting Points
Start your journey at one of the 4 starting points in the Leiden Bio Science Park. Here you will receive a welcome gift and information about the Open Day programme. The Open House route is suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists. The route is 4 km long in total.

Accessibility
We kindly invite everyone to come by public transportation, bicycle or on foot.
Public Transportation
Three starting points are very accessible by public transportation.
- Leiden Central Station is easily accessible by train and bus.
- Biopartner 1 is just a 3-minute walk from Leiden Gorlaeus Laboratory bus stop.
- Corpus Experience has its own bus stop: Oegstgeest, Corpus.
Car
For those coming by car, there are several parking garages at the Leiden Bio Science Park, close to the starting points:
- Johnson & Johnson is located across from FWN Parking Garage Ehrenfest, Ehrenfestweg 1, 2333 CC Leiden.
- Corpus is located opposite Parking Garage Westerdijk, Johanna Westerdijkpad 12, 2342 DJ Oegstgeest.
Bike
Coming by bike? Great! You can take your bike the whole route and there are bike racks at all locations. Be sure to park your bike in appropriate places that do not interfere with pedestrians and other visitors.
Walking
Do you prefer to walk? Then we recommend coming directly to the Leiden Central location. From here you can easily go in all directions.

You don’t have to reservation for the general Open House. Some activities do require registration. You can see if that is still the case on the activity’s events page.

The catering establishments of the park are Lab071, FREE and Hilton Garden Inn.
